Mission Statement

The Parent Resource Center of Montgomery County Public Schools promotes parent awareness of the services provided by MCPS for children with special needs. Our center encourages parent participation in the educational decision-making process and provides support, mentoring and information to strengthen the parent/teacher partnership in all activities.

  • Serving families whose children are or will be enrolled in MCPS;
  • Workshops for families, parent groups, and community service organizations are available;
  • Assisting in obtaining information to provide consultation related to educational issues and community services to parents; and
  • Maintaining a lending library of educational resources for parents and educators.

                                  Lending Library Resources may be of interest to the community but not necessarily  endorsed by the Parent Resource Center.
